- What inspired your country to join the global FootGolf community, and how has the journey been so far?
Mongolia is happy to have joined the FootGolf association as a member. We are planning how to develop it by considering factors such as the weather, geographical environment, and people’s mindset.
- Tell us an interesting or fun fact about your country that most people might not kno.
Some people think Mongolia is a part of China or Russia, but we have a history of being a great empire in world history. There’s even a joke that says “Fashion starts in France and ends in Mongolia.”
- What was the reaction when people in your country first saw or played FootGolf?
Mongolian people were very excited after playing FootGolf for the first time. They felt it was easy to play, enjoyed the fresh air, and described it as a fun and “gold-dug” sport.
- What’s the best thing about playing FootGolf in your country? The weather, the landscapes, or maybe the celebrations after?
I built a small course on my own land. However, I believe that playing on a real golf course would give people a much better experience.
- If you could invite any famous athlete from your country to try FootGolf, who would it be and why?
From Mongolia, I would invite sumo champions Hakuho and Asashoryu to play.
